Employee Wellness Coordinator

Program Planning and Development
- Plan all wellness events including challenges, fitness class, and wellness education seminars
- Plan and execute FMC 5K run/walk
- Develop effective internal marketing strategy to maximize participation
- Conduct surveys to determine interests and needs of participants
- Coordinate resources for wellness services for participants, including identifying vendors and procurement of contracts
- Attend all Wellness Committee meetings
- Assist FMC Employee Wellness Director in identifying and planning wellness programs for high risk participants
- Assist FMC Employee Wellness Director in creating and maintaining FMC Employee Wellness website
Program Implementation and Monitoring
- Implement wellbeing related activities. Examples include: health screenings, lunch and learn seminars, bloodmobile, flu-shots, fitness classes, etc.
- Organize and oversee health screenings
- Assist FMC Employee Wellness Director with the development, monitoring, and management of Wellness Program budget
- Establish and maintain metrics to measure effectiveness of Wellness initiatives
- Monitor and track program participation
- Conduct/facilitate wellness training sessions and seminars
Facilitate Engagement
- Serve as health resource on available health and wellness benefits available to participants
- Meet with various departments to present health and wellness information
- Assistant Wellness Director in health coaching wellness participants via on-site, phone, or email
- Attend and facilitate Wellness events
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provides excellent customer service to participants
- Flexible time availability
- Maintain an organized and clean work area
- Maintain and demonstrate expert knowledge relating to Humana Vitality Program
- Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned by FMC Wellness Director
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in a health related field (Health Promotions, Exercise, Nutrition, & Wellness) and 2 or more years of experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
- Ability to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously
- Ability to comply with HIPAA and regulatory requirements
- Strong team player
