On-site Coaching and Health Promotion Position

Description: Wellness Coach
Location: Denver, Co
Status: Contract position, part-time.

Health Designs is a leader in workplace wellness with a focus on improving employee engagement, productivity and culture. We specialize in wellness assessments, biometric screenings, face to face health coaching, consulting, custom programs and executive reporting. We are seeking an experienced Wellness Coach that can play a key role in driving their wellness initiative forward.

Responsibilities:

• Build and foster a long term relationship with client company and their employees by offering a high level of onsite wellness program support, engagement and results-oriented services, focusing on behavior change, culture and superior client service
• Provide intrinsic coaching, goal-setting and support
• Meet employees monthly for follow-up coaching to foster support, skill building and behavior change
• Review health assessment and biometric screening data and make recommendations
• Design and implement creative activities and programs that support employee well-being
• Provide workshops and educational opportunities
• Deliver evidence-based initiatives and collaborate with Health Designs’ team in providing positive evaluation/outcomes to client

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a health promotion, exercise science, nursing, sports medicine or health-related discipline at a minimum
• Must have 3-5 years experience in designing, implementing and evaluating corporate health programs
• CHES certified and/or coaching certification preferred
• Experience measuring biometrics (manual blood pressure, finger stick, glucose) a plus.
• Skillful in using coaching methodology to support behavior change required
• Strong and knowledgeable presenter of wellness workshops to groups and enjoys doing so
• Expert communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable and experienced working in a corporate setting
• Flexibility in schedule
• Competent with Microsoft Office and web-based applications
