We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced wellness professional for our client headquartered in Glenview, Illinois. This individual will work remotely from a home office most days of the week and onsite at client location on the other days. No relocation assistance will be provided. This position requires approximately 60% – 70% travel; 30 – 40% travel to client locations in the Chicago land area, 30% travel client locations out of state. When not traveling, the employee will work from the client’s corporate headquarters in the Chicago land area 1 – 3 days/week.

Job Description
Goals and Objectives

• Increase awareness and engagement in the company-wide health management programs
• Provide customized support to designated locations/business units
• Engage and manage Wellness Champion Network
• Design customizable resources to support onsite wellness program delivery

Activities

• Assist with day-to-day delivery of established programs with direction from client, StayWell Account Executive, and StayWell Program Manager
• Assist with program creation and/or promotion of promotional and instructional resources or toolkits
• Coordinate logistics of local and company-wide challenges, screenings, promotions or activities • Enter onsite wellness activity participation data into employee records • Develop and facilitate educational programs (i.e. workshops, special events, and stop by booths)
• Collaborate with the client’s onsite HR/Benefit teams and other Company departments
• Participate in client and company meetings
• Manage online Wellness Champion tools
• Manage Wellness Champion network email account; including but not limited to, responding to Wellness Champion questions, directing Champions to the appropriate channel for support
• Update Wellness Champion listing as needed
• Track and ship wellness materials to Wellness Champions throughout the network
• Perform other administrative duties assigned by client or StayWell Project Management
• Create and execute project plans and tracking key project milestones
• Document all key decisions from meetings and client conversations
• Utilize StayWell information systems to track and evaluate program participation

Requirements

• Available to travel up to 60%-70% on annual basis
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree required in a health-related field
• 2 years relevant health promotion/wellness or health-related program planning and delivery required
• Enthusiasm for corporate wellness programs
• Experience delivering health-related and/or informative presentations to small and large groups
• Experience with event planning, community organizing or campaign experience
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing client, program, and account needs
• Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
• Ability to confidently interact with all levels of management including senior management
• Ability to analyze, interpret and take action on program reports and metrics
• Has a record of proposing and implementing creative solutions and that show results
• Possesses project management and organization skills
• Ability to work to various individuals to coordinate various schedules to coordinate an event
• Proven time management skills and the ability to maintain multiple projects while meeting deadlines
• Ability to problem solving independently and make decision
• Familiar with the legal and regulatory environment of the health management arena, such as HIPAA and ADA
